About Kouki Saitou
Saitou came to the card game during the e-Card era in the early 2000s, with cards in Aquapolis and Skyridge, and has drawn for almost every series since. According to the German Pokémon wiki PokéWiki, he is past 700 cards.
He often draws the big, powerful Pokémon. Charizard 146/144 in Skyridge is one of the most sought-after cards for vintage collectors, and he is also behind Charizard δ in EX Crystal Guardians, Groudon and Rayquaza in EX Emerald, Dark Hypno and Dark Slowking in EX Team Rocket Returns, and Venusaur in Supreme Victors.
His images are often in motion – a Pokémon mid-leap or mid-turn, with depth and dramatic light.
